Overview

· Camp will be at a maximum ratio of 1 to 10, Counselors to Campers.  They will move throughout the day to different, preplanned activities suited for their age group.  Activities range from Fitness to Sports to Outdoors and, of course, traditional camp activities (arts & crafts, songs, etc.)!

· Fitness Activities include taking age appropriate, action packed group fitness classes such as kickboxing, yoga, and step.  Campers will learn new exercises and other fitness related topics as well as the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.  These activities will include many individual and team building opportunities.

· Sports Activities will have the goal to expose and teach Campers the fundamentals and basic rules of many different sports that can be accommodated by our facilities.  They can include, but are not limited to, basketball, soccer, tennis, arena football, badminton, dodgeball, etc.  Campers will learn to work as a team as well as challenge themselves through drills, scrimmages, and one-on-one instruction.  Do not be surprised if we take a sport like soccer, and add a water soaked sponge ball to cool us off outside during a hot day!

· Outdoor Activities will challenge!  The Climbing Wall will be utilized to provide an opportunity of learning the basic climbing skills and testing them out in a controlled, safe atmosphere.  We will utilize our already established trails to explore the outdoors!  Activities could include putting up a tent, learning knots, etc.

· Traditional Camp Activities will also be intertwined to the fun!  Arts & Crafts, field trips to local/campus establishments, camp songs, pool time, guest speakers and more could be in your Camper’s agenda for the week.
