INTRODUCING NEW SUMMER 2009: ADVENTURE CAMP UREC!!

Adventure Camp UREC is a new experience this summer. We are very excited about this opportunity. The Adventure Week programs are a unique opportunity for your child to explore the high country in a fun and exciting way. Activities will include canoeing, caving, rock climbing, team-building, and hiking.

Adventure Camp will take place the weeks of

July 20 - 24 and July 27 - 31.

This Camp is limited to rising 6th, 7th & 8th graders who are at least 80 lbs.+.                                                                           The weight criteria is for transportation and activity purposes.

The Week of Adventure Camp will tentatively consist of:

Rock Climbing at Little Lost Cove

Canoeing on the New River

Day Hike on Grandfather Mountain

          Caving on Roberts Cave                                                                                                                                                *Activites may be switched out for similiar activites based on weather.

All staff are properly trained ASU Students that met standards set forth by ASU's Outdoor Programs. 

Fill out a Camp UREC Registration Form & Medical Form, bring both forms and payment to the Student Recreation Center on ASU's campus and we will be in contact with even more details! 

We are VERY limited to spots (only 8 per week) so please do not wait!
