Hiring Information
We are currently accepting Camp UREC Counselor applications until Friday, April 3rd, 2009!
So if you are a highly motivated individual, who is taking at least one summer class and has a love of children and all that they encompass, then swing by the SRC offices and grab an application or print one off on-line and bring it in to the SRC offices.
We are hiring for three shifts:
- Morning: 7am - 12pm
- Afternoon: 11:30am - 6pm
- Full Day: 7am - 6pm
- These times are subject to change as our final schedule nears!
Group interviews will be held at the SRC Friday April 17, 2009 starting at 2pm and lasting until 7pm. Please come ready to participate in gym shoes and comfortable clothing! These interviews are unique and will be a great way to expose your enthusiasm and creativity!
training will begin Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 if you are hired. We ask that you find somewhere on the application to put your desired work shift and age group that you would like to work with.
The ages that we serve are 1st-8th graders.
This camp is held in its entirety on the Appalachian State University campus.
We would like to restate that in order to be considered for employment that you must be a current ASU student that is preferably going to be taking at least one class this summer.
